Cabernet Sauvignon (Wilyabrup, Margaret River)
85% Ironstone (Wilyabrup) Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Clairault Block A1 (Wilyabrup) Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc
Appearance
Deep red with a bright, youthful hue and no development.Nose
Pure and lifted. Blackcurrant, blackberry, and cassis lead, supported by fresh tobacco leaf and cold‑green notes. Subtle oak adds graphite, mocha, and faint cedar. The aromatics feel clean, vibrant, and distinctly varietal.Palate
Elegant, vibrant, and finely structured. A core of cassis, redcurrant, blue fruits, and black plum is supported by tobacco leaf, tea‑leaf, and gentle cedar. Tannins are powdery and chalky, giving shape without hardness and showing the wine’s youth. Oak sits in the background, contributing mocha, espresso, and spice, all balanced and controlled.Finish
Long, carried by black fruits and oak spice, with grape‑derived tannins extending the line.A youthful, pure, and varietally expressive Cabernet showing clarity of fruit, refined tannins, and subtle oak. Still early in its evolution, with structure and intensity that will integrate over time.

GSM (Grenache Shiraz) Frankland River, Great Southern
60% Frankland River Grenache, 40% Frankland River Shiraz (clone 470)
Appearance
Bright red with a clear purple hue, showing youthful vibrancy.Nose
Strong Grenache influence with pastille notes, violets, sweet red berries, and raspberries. Shiraz adds darker undertones, with hints of plum. Aromatics are lifted and expressive.Palate
Vibrant and fruit‑driven, showing lots of natural fruit sweetness. Shiraz contributes mid‑palate weight, adding raspberry grip and defining texture and shape. The wine is very approachable yet retains complexity, with warm, powerful fruit presence and sweet tobacco characters .Finish
Lingering finish with sweet pastille notes and mixed red and purple fruits.A youthful, energetic GSM (Grenache–Shiraz) blend combining approachability with depth. Bright fruit, mid‑palate weight, and gentle grip suggest both immediate appeal and short‑term cellaring potential.
